RULES OF CONDUCT
Player Code of Conduct & Commitment
All players will follow the guidelines, standards, and expectations established by their team and the Baseball U Florida organization.
All players are committed to Baseball U Florida for the duration of their team's season. Participation on another travel baseball roster during the season must be approved by the Baseball U Florida administration.
All players will conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. Unsportsmanlike gestures, taunting, profanity, or disrespectful behavior toward teammates, opponents, coaches, umpires, or spectators will not be tolerated.
All players will show respect toward umpires and their decisions. All umpire decisions are to be accepted as final.
All players will respect the game of baseball and play it the right way.
All players will refrain from throwing bats, helmets, gloves, or any other equipment on or off the field.
All players will accept coaching decisions regarding positions, lineups, and playing time.
All players will wear their uniforms properly and represent Baseball U Florida with pride and professionalism at all times.
All players are expected to demonstrate consistent effort, commitment, accountability, and a positive attitude during practices, games, and team activities.
Baseball U Florida reserves the right to suspend or release any player from the organization for poor sportsmanship, lack of commitment, poor attitude, disciplinary concerns, excessive absences, or conduct deemed detrimental to the organization.
Parent Code of Conduct & Commitment
All parents will follow the guidelines, standards, and expectations established by Baseball U Florida.
All parents will ensure their player arrives to practices, games, and team functions on time and prepared.
All parents will encourage skill development, effort, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
All parents will provide positive encouragement and support to all players, coaches, officials, and families.
All parents will speak positively about teammates, coaches, opposing programs, and officials.
All parents will accept umpire decisions as final.
All parents will respect coaching decisions regarding positions, lineups, and playing time.
Parents with concerns should follow the organization's communication procedures and contact a Baseball U Florida administrator rather than addressing concerns during or immediately after games.
All parents will refrain from coaching players from the stands during games.
All parents will refrain from entering dugouts or team-specific areas unless authorized by a coach or administrator.
Baseball U Florida reserves the right to suspend or remove any player and/or family from the organization for conduct that is detrimental to the program, including but not limited to poor sportsmanship, inappropriate behavior, lack of cooperation, or repeated violations of organizational policies.
Coach Code of Conduct & Commitment
All coaches will follow the standards, expectations, and policies established by Baseball U Florida.
All coaches will maintain disciplinary control of their players at all times.
All coaches will treat players, parents, opposing coaches, umpires, and spectators with professionalism and respect.
All coaches will conduct themselves in a positive and respectful manner while representing Baseball U Florida.
All coaches will promote sportsmanship, character, and player development above all else.
All coaches will ensure that players compete with integrity and uphold the values of Baseball U Florida at all times.
All coaches will refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct toward opponents, umpires, spectators, or fellow coaches.
All coaches are expected to be reliable, prepared, and committed to all practices, games, tournaments, and organizational events.
Baseball U Florida reserves the right to suspend or remove any coach for poor sportsmanship, lack of professionalism, unreliability, excessive absences, conduct detrimental to the organization, or failure to uphold the standards of Baseball U Florida.
